A MTV divulgou a lista dos indicados ao VMA 2016, a premiação que elege os melhores videoclipes do ano. O evento será realizado no dia 28 de agosto no Madison Square Garden, em Nova York. Os indicados ao Video Music Awards foram divulgados, dessa vez, por meio de grafites nas ruas de Nova York com transmissão ao vivo pelo Facebook.
Beyoncé se destacou — como se fosse alguma surpresa. A cantora lidera com onze indicações, devido ao seu novo álbum “Lemonade”, em seguida Adele foi indicada à oito categorias, a maioria referente ao clipe de “Hello”. Rihanna, Drake, Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, Sia, Fifth Harmony, Justin Bieber e The Weeknd também foram nomeados para algumas categorias.
